2021 Plan Design Changes

For 2021, we have made some copay changes (see table below) to the Aetna Alternative POS Plan and CVS Caremark Prescription Drug Plan. In addition to this update, we are also introducing a 4th tier for Specialty drugs with a co-pay of $75 for retail and $150 for mail order.

Even with these modest changes, our healthcare plans continue to deliver high quality benefits and remain very competitive in the marketplace.

*Specialty drugs (often called biologics) are usually injectable or infused but can be oral as well. These are used to treat complex or rare chronic conditions such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis or hemophilia.

Employee Contributions

As you all know Pernod Ricard has a long-standing commitment to providing you and your family access to comprehensive and affordable healthcare benefits; our commitment stands even stronger now in these unprecedented times. We are happy to share that for 2021 we are maintaining the same employee contribution amounts in our self insured plans with Aetna Medical, MetLife Dental and VSP vision plan! However, if you are enrolled in the fully insured Kaiser Permanent medical plan, please note that your medical employee contributions will increase slightly. We are proud to continue to offer exceptional benefits at an affordable cost to protect you and your family.

2021 Teladoc

Telemedicine is a powerful tool that makes healthcare accessible and cost effective. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for telemedicine has significantly increased. As such, consultation fees will be increasing next year.

As a reminder if you are enrolled in any of the HDHP plans you will pay the full visit fees until the deductible is met, then coinsurance. For employees enrolled in the Alternative POS Plan, you will either pay the PCP or Specialist Copay you would normally pay.

Aetna One Flex

Aetna’s tailored care management option helps identify potential chronic conditions before they begin. Aetna One Flex offers a single nurse for the family for acute and chronic care, and an expanded care team. If you’re identified for care management, a nurse can work with you to put together a plan, help you understand your benefits offering sand answer your health-related questions. Through the Aetna member website, you'll be able to locate a doctor, review your personal health record and watch informational health videos. And for specific health needs, you can explore member resources like the Cancer SupportCenter, the Maternity Support Center and the Joint Pain SupportCenter. Aetna One Flex will replace Aetna’s In Touch Care program.

Fitness Reimbursement

Based on your feedback and given the current climate, fitness reimbursement has been revised to permanently include in-home fitness subscription services & apps. Examples include a Peloton subscription or Sworkit fitness app. No changes have been made to the normal schedule and reimbursement process.

Parental Leave

We support our employees and their families – and believe that bonding with a newborn or newly-adopted child is important. As such we have decided to eliminate the eligibility waiting period of 1 year. Effective September 1, 2020, employees will now be eligible for their 10 weeks of paid parental leave as of day of hire.
