BetterUp Ready vs Spring Health

When should I use Spring Health vs BetterUp Ready?

Figuring out where to start with mental care can be overwhelming. Let’s start with understanding the differences.  BetterUp Ready mental fitness solution that enables you to thrive through continuous coaching, tailored tools, and team-based learning, Spring Health offers personalized mental health support through clinical therapy to help you navigate any of life’s challenges.

While both coaching and therapy offer a secure environment for people to process emotions, set goals, and take action, they differ in their primary focus. Therapists (Spring Health) specialize in addressing mental illness and significant emotional and relational concerns, providing treatment, medication and support. On the other hand, coaches (BetterUp Ready) concentrate on elevating performance in specific areas, guiding individuals towards personal and professional growth.

Throughout our lives, our needs are continually shifting. Therapy and coaching can complement each other, and can both be a part of someone’s mental health and wellness journey.

For example, if you’re working with a coach to manage grief and learn some coping techniques but find that you’re experiencing deep depression or grief then you would work with a clinical therapist.
