ALEX, an online decision support tool for benefit eligible employees*, can help you select benefits for yourself and your family. After responding to a few key questions, ALEX will use the answers to provide a personalized health cost prediction and ranking for each health plan based on the your unique health risks and preferences. Personal information obtained by ALEX is anonymous and is not stored or shared.
*ALEX is a tool intended for benefit eligible employees. Benefit eligible employees are all US based full time employees or part time employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week and your spouse or domestic partner, and each child of you or your spouse (or domestic partner) through the end of the month of each child’s 26th birthday. You don’t need to do much of anything. ALEX will ask you to estimate what type of medical care you might need this year (doctors visits, surgeries, ER visits, prescriptions, etc.), so you may want to tally those up and talk to your family about their needs.

ALEX takes the amount each plan would cost you out of your paycheck (your premium) and adds that to the amount it would cost for the services you said you might use. Then he’ll recommend the least expensive plan for your needs.
